Cancellation & Refund Policy

This document explains how cancellations and refunds work for Aura Trading Journal subscriptions.

Overview

This Cancellation & Refund Policy governs all paid subscriptions to Aura Trading Journal ("AURA"), operated by Aura Alpha Systems. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms outlined below. We process all payments and subscription management through Polar.sh, our authorized payment processor.

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation: • You retain full access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period. • No partial refunds are issued for the remainder of the current billing period. • Your subscription will not renew at the end of the billing cycle. • Downgrade to the free tier takes effect at the start of the next billing period. To cancel, navigate to Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription, or contact [email protected] for assistance.

Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds within 7 days of the initial purchase date under the following conditions: • First-time subscribers only — refunds are limited to your first-ever payment. • The refund window is 7 calendar days from the transaction date. • Refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Polar.sh. Refunds are not available for: • Renewal charges or recurring billing cycles beyond the initial payment. • Add-on purchases, one-time fees, or upgrade prorations. • Subscriptions cancelled after the 7-day refund window. • Accounts found to have violated our Terms of Service.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within the eligible period: 1. Email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request — [your email address]". 2. Include your account email and the transaction date in the body. 3. Our team will verify eligibility and process the refund within 5–7 business days. Alternatively, you may submit a refund request directly through Polar.sh's purchase history if Polar.sh processes self-serve refunds for your region.

Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. The time for the funds to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and financial institution: • Credit/debit cards: 5–10 business days after processing. • PayPal: 2–3 business days after processing. • Other methods: Varies by provider. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued by Polar.sh.

Free Trials & Promotions

If you signed up through a free trial or promotional period: • You will not be charged until the trial period expires. • Cancelling during the trial period prevents any charge from being made. • Trial-to-paid conversions follow the refund policy above, with the 7-day window starting on the conversion date. • Promotional discounts do not entitle you to a refund of the discounted portion if a refund is approved.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers. Continued use of AURA after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
